An interactive workshop
with a hands-on case-study approach covering the following:

The Graduate Program has been expanded. You will now be attending for a four-day program using interactive analysis of real-world data. This hands-on program is available to those who have successfully completed the Years 1 & 2 curriculum and have earned their Certificate of Campground Management. It is now offered to those who have accumulated 10 years of experience in campground management.

Topics to be presented will include:
• Financial terms and formulas to evaluate your current business standing
• Appropriately aggressive rate-setting for seasonal and overnight sites
• When to make capital investments and how to choose capital projects
• Using a business plan to evaluate your business and predict growth outcomes

This fast-paced series of courses features five instructors, each with extensive experience in growing the profitability of campground operations. The program utilizes lecture, discussion, and extensive group case study work.

All registrants will be provided an electronic form prior to class to gather their facility’s historical financial and occupancy data to use more fully during the class. Data submitted ahead of class may be selected for in-class analysis and growth strategy suggestions from the instructors and participants. Attendance is limited to those who own or operate a campground and have access to the annual income and expense actuals of the facility.

All graduate program students will need access to a laptop PC for the duration of the course. Please plan on bringing your personal laptop to the program. If you do not have a laptop PC, please indicate such on the registration form and the school will make arrangements for you to rent one.
